Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Here's our policy on how we collect and protect your data.

Bundle Builder, "the App”, provides the ability to create bundles of existing products and add discounts and minimums, and automatically sync inventory, "the Service", to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and stored when the app is installed and used in connection with a Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects.

When the App is installed automatic access is granted to the following information from a merchant’s Shopify account:

  • Shop domain
  • Shopify ID
  • Owner Email
  • Owner Name

Additionally, the following types of personal information from merchants and their customers are collected once the App has been installed:

  • IP address and User Agent of everyone who opens a bundle page
  • email of every customer who purchases any bundle
  • web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on devices

Personal information is collected directly from the relevant individual, through a merchant’s Shopify account, or using the following technologies and 3rd party services:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the site.
“Google analytics” that tracks user behaviour.
“Mailchimp” for collecting and storing email addresses once the individual has provided their email and opted in to receive updates.
“Help Scout” for providing email support services to merchants.

How is Personal Information used?

Personal information is collected in order to provide the Service and operate the App. Additionally, personal information is used to communicate with individuals by email, only after they have voluntarily opted in, to advise of new app releases, new app features and provide information or advertising relating to the products or services.

Personal information may be used to provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications deemed of interest to the individual.

Sharing Personal Information.

The third parties used in connection with the app are;

  • Mailchimp for collecting and storing email addressed once individuals have opted in to receive updates. You can read more about how Mailchimp uses and protects personal information here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy
  • Google Analytics for tracking user behaviour and traffic statistics. You can read more about how Google uses and protects personal information here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Personal information may also be shared to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information received, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Behavioural Advertising.

As described above, personal information may be used to provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications deemed of interest to the individual.

For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page here: http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.

You can opt out of targeted advertising by opting out of advertising in your account settings on Facebook and Google. Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at: http://optout.aboutads.info/.

Your Rights If you are a European resident.

You have the right to access your personal information and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us at support@agile.haus or by mail through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident please note that your information is processed to pursue our legitimate business interests outlined above. Also, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention.

When a customer places an order through the app, the Order Information is maintained for our records. All the data is stored in a PostgreSQL database maintained in Heroku. It is retained forever, even after a merchant uninstalls the App, in case the merchant wanted to use the App again. Unless and until the customer or the merchant ask us to delete this information.

Please note that once the App is uninstalled by a merchant, sensitive data, defined as name, email, address, ip address and user_agent, will automatically be removed from our database within 48 hours of the uninstall.

Minors.

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. It is the responsibility of the merchant (not the App) to ensure age restrictions are enforced on selling products that require age limits.

Changes.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
